Iron Daughter playlist

I've been getting a lot of playlist questions lately. Like, do I have a playlist for Iron King (yes, its on my website), and do I have one for Iron Daughter?

So I thought I'd post The Iron Daughter playlist, in case anyone is interested. The list will go up on the website soon, but for now, I'll share it here. :)

What are some of your favorite songs, and why?

  5. Love your work, Julie. I was anxious to see what your playlist was like, but like Ladytink, I can't seem to find it on your site and it doesn't want to display on your blog!

You might like "Welcome to the Slaughterhouse" by Lily Holbrook (if it's not already on your list). Just a suggestion! Fantastic song.

  6. Thanks, everyone! So awesome to see we like many of the same songs. ^__^

@Ladytink, Lol, yeah I know. Its hard to find. That will be changing soon. So, when your on the main page, go to 'books' then next to the Iron King picture, under where it says "I don't think it will be that way for me," click the "Read More." The playlist will be at the bottom of the page.

I know, I know, its confusing and lame. Will try to get it set up better soon. Sorry about that. :)

  8. So, I know you've already WRITTEN TID, and therefore your playlist is done, but while I was reading (and glaring at you in my mind) I couldn't help but think of Digital Ghost by Tori Amos. (Who, btw, I think is a perfect Lea. In my head, anyway.) If you haven't heard it let me know and I'll blip it at you. xoxo

  12. Am totally digging this playlist! I love Breaking Benjamin!
Adding Bleeding Love into the mix was a pleasant unexpected surprise though lol.

Um, I'm not sure how you feel about chinese songs but I have one that I feel is so Iron King (stupid use of grammar but you get my point *cough)
It's pretty moody and definitely has an inhuman feel to it. I always thought the song was more in Ash's perspective but there are certain parts in the lyrics that seems like something Megan would think too.

The song is by Lin jun Jie and it's called Hei Wu Shi (黑武士). The literal meaning is 'Black Warrior' but because it was written for Darth Vader (seriously..) most people title it as 'Lord Vader'.
If you like you can listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoRJqVX0wEA

    Hope you like it!

Can't wait for the Iron Daughter to come out! August can't get here fast enough :D
