The Immortal Rules contest: Vampire for a night

Guess what arrived on my doorstep today?


A box of pretty hardback copes of THE IMMORTAL RULES!

























Vampire chickens, the new threat to humanity.




Sooooo, of course this begs the question: what am going to do with them now?


Well, the answer is obvious, I think: CONTEST!


So, what will you have to do to win one of these shiny, signed hardbacks?

PHOTO CONTEST for a signed, hardback editon of THE IMMORTAL RULES


Yes, a photo contest! In The Immortal Rules, the main character, Allison Sekemoto is a tough, wary, katana-weilding vampire. So, I want YOU to take a picture of yourself as a bad-ass vampire. One that might haunt the ruined, post-apocalyptcic cities of The Immortal Rules.





























Use whatever you want: fangs, trenchcoats, fake blood, katanas, whatever! Create a scene from the book if you've read it. Be creative. Have fun with it. Own your awesome, vampire bad-assery. Then on April 24th, I will pick my favorite 3 and send them a signed hardback copy of The Immortal Rules.

A few rules:

1. Keep it clean. Blood and gore is fine, just remember this is a public blog and any R-rated content will be disqualified.

2. Leave me the link in the comments. Extra points for any place you share both the picture and the contest. (Facebook, twitter, your blog, etc.)

3. Contest is international. Ends April 24th.

4. Have FUN. You get to play a vampire. (C'mon you know you've always wanted to be one. I know I have.)

    Now this sounds like something right up DC Grace's alley. Having a picture of my whole self posted on a blog for others to see does not thrill me, so my creation will remain in my head. Unless of course I decide to draw it, which i know doesn't count for the book, but might be fun to do anyway. :)

    I hope it's okay that I took some 'artistic liberty' with this! ;)
    As soon as I read this, I KNEW my daughter, Belle, would make a MUCH prettier...er, kick-bum vampire than I ever could.
    She turned 4 last Friday, and I don't allow swords in the house, so she has a pink fairy magic wand of DOOM!
    It's not shown in the photo, but she's also currently sporting a kick-bum hot pink cast on her left leg. She broke it, er....fighting for her life! (Okay, not really. She jumped off the bed onto the floor and landed wrong, twisting her leg and breaking it) :(

    Without further adieu, may I introduce Belle, 4 year old kick-bum vampire girl extraordinaire!

      btw i just tried them, after making them public and signing out of facebook and they worked. Thanks again for your patience.

      In the first one I was 20 and the other two I was 16, maybe 17. There's a little bit of a difference... haven't taken many vampire pictures since then, I have two boys (4 y.o and 1 y.o)... don't want to scare the crap out of them. My 4 year old, on the other hand thinks it's hilarious when I put my fangs in and hiss... my 1 year old... he starts crying. Hunter (saying 4 year old was getting repetitive) definitely has my sense of humor....

      But as I am probably wasting your time, you must be busy, I bid you goodnight and take care. Thanks for looking at the pictures.

    I'm giving a testimony on how me and my fiance became a vampire. This was how i and my fiance became Vampire, I was browsing the internet searching on how i could be transformed. When i came across the email of a man named Lord Mark. who was a VAMPIRE so I told him that I and my fiance has always dreamed of becoming a VAMPIRES so he asked me my name, country, State, address, photo, etc. and asked me to contact the market of spells for the Hindu materials required for our transformation. So I did and he said that a vampire will be assigned to guide us and direct us on how the items are to be used.
