So, to celebrate, let's have a giveaway! Since the Grim Anthology released a little while ago, it'll be up for grabs, as well as the first book in the Blood of Eden series, The Immortal Rules. Of course, both will be signed. Here's a little info on the books.
Inspired by classic fairy tales, but with a dark and sinister twist, Grim contains short stories from some of the best voices in young adult literature today.
Here's the GRIM trailer.
And The Immortal Rules:
To survive in a ruined world, she must embrace the darkness
Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten. Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them—the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.
Forced to flee her city, Allie must pass for human as she joins a ragged group of pilgrims seeking a legend—a place that might have a cure for the disease that killed off most of civilization and created the rabids, the bloodthirsty creatures who threaten human and vampire alike. And soon Allie will have to decide what and who is worth dying for again.
So you know the drill. Enter the Rafflecopter thingie for a chance to win. It is international, so what are you waiting for?

ReplyDeleteMy favorite classic fairy tale is "Bluebeard", I find it fascinating and terrible. It's so dark and shows human nature, mainly the horrible reality of judging people even when they've gone through something tragic. Also, it's an impressive portrayal of how women have been seen through time.
