Hi everyone!
So, the Forever Song is out in the world now. I think this calls for a giveaway, don't you? How does a signed copy of The Forever Song sound to everyone? But first, since its also Tuesday, here is a short teaser from the book. See if you can guess who said this:

ReplyDeleteI have a hard time choosing favourites... I've loved Allison all through the 3 books, but Kanin & Zeke were my favourites for book 1 & 2 and then for book 3 strangely enough it was Jackal, that I could barely stand on previous books!

ReplyDeleteFor me, though I loved Allie and Zeke, the favorite position is a toss-up between Kanin and Jackal. I believe I would probably pick Jackal, crazily enough. I loved how he played the big, tough, emotionally unavailable, sarcastic pain in the ass, but was always there when he was needed. At the end of the day, he was a part of the family, even if he did try to act like he was doing them the favor.

ReplyDeleteAlthough his series is full of amazing characters, my favorite has to be, hands down, Allie. Why? I just really admire her so much. I wish I was as bad ass as her. I haven't read "The Forever Song" yet so I have yet to see her full dark side, but no matter what, she'll always be one of my favorite characters in the entire world.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is Caleb. He's so cute and innocent! And he loves goats! He doesn't judge people/vampires based on what they are "defined" as. He loves Allie and that other person (not going to spoil!) even though they are vampires. He knows what is in the inside is what counts and so do actions; he doesn't blindly judge people or make assumptions. :)

DeleteIt's difficult to decide between Kanin and Jackal. Although I think Jackal can be a real ass, his ambitions make a lot of sense despite his somewhat questionable methods of entertainment. So I guess Jackal it is.

ReplyDeleteThat is seemingly a hard question. I like Jackal mainly because he is Jackal, I find Kanin to be this poetic beautiful disaster which is compelling, Caleb is that kid that puts inocence in this book and it is admirable, Zeke is the one everyone would adore because of his selflessness, bravery and that sweetest form of smile that just makes you smile. But my favourite character would be Allie. I know she is all strong and badass but thats not what makes her my favourite. What struck me about her was that she was more human rather than being the monster. She was hypocrite when she said she loathes vampires and then became one herself. She did not became that hard stone cold mysterious girl instead she chose to be herself though hid a part of herself because she cared for others. She became a warrior who fell, stood, fell and stood again. She is willing to sacrifice for others. Thats why she is my favourite because she is much more human than she thinks.
