German Cover

Check out the German cover for The Iron King, now titled "Suddenly Fey--Summernight."

What do you think? I do love the cover; its very eye-catching (no pun intended). I wonder what they're going to do with the second book. Suddenly Fey--Winterday? Hmmm....

  1. Love the cover! It's really pretty! I'm not so sure about the title though... but I guess they know what they are doing..!

But I'm beyond happy you will get published in Germany and I HOPE they will invite you for a Tour - and I hope I'll have then the chance to meet you :))

  9. Maybe something Fae daughter.

I think it how some folk think of faeries. But Germans may have a darker conception and know they aren't all pretty, sunlight and roses. The folk tales and mythos of my German friends, are much darker.

  10. Steph - You're actually right about that. We don't have that many myths involving Fey but the ones that do are pretty dark and creepy. And there are no tiny, pretty girls with wings ;)

  18. The cover is very pretty, although I prefer the English version, cover-wise and title-wise. I really like the model on the covers of the series, I imagine Meghan must look like her (or is her). :)

  19. I really prefer the US cover(s), which are absolutly beautiful. And I like that it shows Meghan, the German one does not mean anything related to the story (I think). I wonder how will be our french one (six months to know!)
