OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD I am SOOOOO excited to read The Iron Queen!!! My hopes and wishes for The Iron Queen is that Ash and Meghan can be together in the Never Never despite being summer/winter. I can't wait until this comes out in bookstores! :)

It´s so gorgeous! I would kill to get my hands on it already. I need more Ash, though / bacause I already have a serious crush on him. I feel like a crazy adolescent and what´s worse, I don´t mind :)

ReplyDeleteI loved Ash in the first book, but Puck grew on me. First off, it would be so cool having romance in a book with a famous character from a book. Also, there was a whole love triangle from the first book. If Puck, doesn't win Meghan, and Ash does, it will be the same as one of those predictable teen romances. Don't get me wrong; I LOVE this book series, the witty dialogue, the characters, and the plot (finally: a GOOD Faerie book!). My hope is: that Meghan ends up with Puck in the Faerie world. But I would rather she would end up with Ash then with no one.
ReplyDeleteSorry, one more thing: So many teen books have the whole girl with bad guy (or if it's a book about elements: Fire with Water), or like normal girl loves forbidden guy. Kinda like Twilight. It would just be so nice to see a book where the girl ends up with the nice, good guy, which is way more relatable and realistic.

I don't see how she and Ash can be together and it seems like all of the fae will be against her. She'll be alone....I can't think about it. But please tell me you're still writing!!!

I have a feeling it's the new Iron King who took Meghan, and since Machina became the Iron King by defeating the old Iron King, it seems like their succession goes by defeating/killing the previous King, so Meghan the heir to the Iron throne, which I'm guessing is why she got Machina's powers and why the Iron fey listen to her, and obviously why Ironhorse called her his queen. I'm so excited to see how it all turns out though :D
I have to agree with almost everyone else, I want more Ash, and Ash with Meghan too of course lol
And Grim and Puck too, they crack me up!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait for it. I read the first one over before I read The Iron Daughter. I loved it just as much as the first time. I just love the world building. And the end of The Iron Daughter was so cool and surprising. Like Marie, I'll be sad for it to end.

ReplyDeleteI can totally understand a short term relationship with Ash. He's dark, gorgeous, forbidden, and hey, what woman can resist that kind of tortured soul? But where does that leave our wonderful, funny, loyal to a fault Puck?
Hanging out to dry, that's where. It's just not right.
Anyway. Loving the cover, though I wish the color theme were different. Personally, I want someone to explain that whole "can't believe you're the one we've been waiting for" comment that Virus made. I mean, on the one hand, it seems kind of obvious, but on the other, I need the details!

ReplyDeleteI really hope to get to know Ash better as a character, and to get a little resolution with Puck. Whether that means him falling in love with someone else, finding peace with not having Meghan, or even surprising us all and getting to be with her in the end, I'd like a sense of development there. I'm also looking forward to seeing Meghan grow stronger, and using the connection she has with the iron fey to her advantage.

ReplyDeleteI would like a little more family history about Meghan. The whole Charles thing was a bit out of nowhere in the Iron Daughter. I would like a couple of those questions wrapped up.

I definitely want to see more awesome images of faerie life in general. I love the different trods and all the amazing imagery that you present in your books. It is awesome and brilliantly colorful. As I am reading these books, I can literally see colors throughout every chapter. As a faerie enthusiast from KY, I have to say that these are some of the best faerie books I have read. It makes me think of Melissa Marr meets Alice in Wonderland! It is fantastic and beautiful. Thank you for all of your hard work! (glamourbooks.blogspot.com)

ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be so stereotypical. The main girl is always gonna be with the new, mysterious guy and totally forget about the bestfriend that has always been there for her. And it tears at my heart that Puck will never be with Meggy 'cause she's totally forgoten him. Come on now. I'm begging for Puck to find love! He's my favorite character EVER I think I would say!
