Chibis in clay

So I've recently discovered the joys of polymer clay.  I remember I used to play with Sculpy a lot when I was younger, and I've re-discovered how fun it is to make your own creations.

What I've done so far:

Chibi Ash and Puck, 1st attempt

Tiny unicorn

Chibi Ash and Puck, 2nd attempt

I also have plans to make Meghan, Allie, and of course GRIM, so stay tuned for more chibi clay creations.  No idea what to do with them once I fill up a shelf with chibi critters.  Hmm, maybe a giveaway is in order someday?

Keep creating,
Julie

  8. They are sooooo cute. A giveaway would be awesome! If u come to faerycon, you should make them while you sit at your table and do some kind of drawing for them. So I finally started The Iron King. Ethan is so little and poor Beau. U r an amazing writer Julie.

  10. I didn't know the best way/place to say this, so I came to your blog. I wanted to tell you how much I love the Iron Fey series. I just read the series for the second time and was no less impressed. I love the world you created, the characters you created, and everything about the series. You have truly inspired me and made me want to be creative and write again. It's been quite awhile, but I've always wanted to create something like what you have. I've always loved the fantastical. I'm eager to purchase The Lost Prince and continue this story. However, something I've been wondering is how you came to all this Faery knowledge. Did you research as you went or did you truly know so much about folklore and fey? Anyway, you writing amazingly and I love your characters and books. I look forward to reading the other books you have written, as well. Also here is a tribute to you: http://becauseshesaidyes.blogspot.com/2013/01/obsessed-reader.html
