Sooooo, I've been given permission to post this one time only teaser of the newest Iron Fey book, The Lost Prince. This is Ethan's story, and I hope you enjoy it! Without further ado, here it is:

And last night, I found out that my sister, whom I hadn't seen in nearly thirteen years, was dead.
Worse, they say she was found with Puck's dagger plunged through her heart, and a note pinned to the blade.
The note only said three words...

Sims Medieval: Puck's Lament
Under the reign of good king Oberon, Arcadia was growing.
And within the land there was a merry minstrel named Puck.
Puck's music was quite popular.
Wherever he went, people's spirits were lifted for a little while.
As a poet and playwright, and one who appreciated the written word, Puck was extremely dismayed one day to hear tales of book-burning peasants in Arcadia.
He decided to talk to these peasants, perhaps convince them that the written word wasn't the evil they feared.
Sadly, the peasant's were stubborn,
and quite rude.
It did not go as expected.
At all.
Puck tried a new tactic, reciting a poem he'd composed, hoping it would touch them on a deeply personal level.
Success! One of the peasants was deeply moved and asked him to teach her how to read.
Puck was only to happy to help, and soon...
word of her lessons reached the other peasants, who agreed to let Puck teach them as well. Everyday, they met in the forest, where Puck taught them the value of books and the written word.
In thanks, the peasants composed a book of their own and presented it to their teacher, vowing they would never harm another page again.
Satisfied that every page was once again safe in Arcadia's borders, Minstrel Puck went home to enjoy the fruits of his labor and relax with a good book.
Next up...teaching peasants about punctuation.

Too cute not to share
Check out this awesome fanart based on the April Fool's prank Puck pulled the other week.
If you don't remember, it went something like this:
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, man, this is my favorite day of the year. HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!" --Puck
"You think that's funny, Goodfellow?"
"Oh, hey, ice-boy. What, you didn't think that was brilliant? Coming back from the dead and all? Hey, put that sword down. It was a joke...crap."
*Runs off with Ash close behind, waving his sword.*

The Sims: New Friends and Foes
Continuing the lives of the Sims...
Not much going on in Meghan's life lately. While her father is busy with his garden,
and her mother practices her speeches,
Meghan keeps herself entertained on the computer. However, this week, she met someone very special...
They talked a bit,
And discovered they had a lot in common. At least she won't be lonely anymore.
As for Puck...
Puck has been having a hard week. He's forced to live in the basement of Lea's home, but it doesn't seem to bother him overmuch. He makes do with what he has.
This week, Ash invited him over to his house, but that didn't work out well for him.
Not only did Mab take offense to his presence there...
but Rowan picked a fight in front of a girl he was friends with.
Oof.
Ow.
Ouch. Well, better luck next time, Puck.

Sims Saturday: The Puck Post
Today in the life of the Sims...
This is Robin Goodfellow.
He lives in this charming fairytail cottage out in the wilderness. This isn't really his house, though. It belongs to Lea Summer.
This is Lea Summer. Lea is a Heartbreaker Sim. Here she is trying to convince a married man to break up with his wife.
Oops.
Robin isn't traditionally employed, unlike Ash, who joined the law enforcement career earlier in the week. He does, however, raise and sell fruits and vegetables to the local supermarket, and has a super Green Thumb.
Ash lives here too, at least for now. Currently, he's trying to save up enough to build a house so he and Meghan can get married. He and Robin get along well.
For the most part.
Robin is currently pursuing a romantic relationship with a girl named Jade Greenwood. He's not entirely sure where its going, however. For now, he wants to keep his options open.

Teaser Tuesday (on a Wednesday)
Well, I forgot to post yesterday, so today's Teaser Tuesday will actually be on a Wednesday. Anyway, someone said they wanted a Puck teaser this time, so here ya go.
"Why?" I whispered. "Why do you hang around? You and Ash could've died today."
Puck's heartbeat sped up under my fingers. His voice, when it came, was very soft, almost a whisper. "I would've thought you'd have figured that out by now."
In other news, I will be choosing a grand prize winner for the Team Ash/Team Puck Faceoff very soon, and thanks to everyone who entered! I had a lot of fun, and I hope you all did, too. Stay tuned to see who was the ultimate winner, brooding Ash or mischievous Puck.
